Sodne connects buyers and sellers directly cutting out the middlemen and lowering costs and barriers for everyone. Traditional print media have been gouging customers for too long - It's not that putting an ad in a newspaper is worth Rs 15000 but it's how much they can get away with charging. But really an ad is just a way for a seller to reach out to a buyer and for buyers to find what they want.
Classifieds services such as craigslist have proven that this is an inefficient and costly approach. Ads in newspapers might have been a good way to get the word out a hundred years ago but in the age of the internet there are simply more effective and cheaper ways for buyers and sellers to connect.
